LAA National Rally 2011
The event is now established with its own formula and all those who attended enjoyed the event with the exception of the weather on the last day. Friday started off with brilliant weather Saturday was reasonable and Sunday was almost a washout with many leaving in the morning though it greatly improved in the afternoon allowing those who waited a pleasant flight home.
We had a fine collection of winners this year though we had not enough entries and some classes were thus not awarded. The photos cover those aircraft that won and attended though “Taff” Smith brought down Alex Henshaw's historic Percival Mew Gull rather than his Glasair RG.
